One thing that confused me a lot to start with is the naming on some of the Warcasters.
At first I was puzzled when I saw them mentioned a couple of times eg eKreoss and pKreoss, what was the difference I wondered. Eventually stumbled across references to Epic Kreoss (Grand Exemplar) and thought hurrah that one is solved. Still had no idea what pKreoss (High Exemplar) stood for but wasnt to bothered. Now I have just discovered pKreoss stands for Prime Kreoss.
Its only a little thing but it makes me feel happier to know what they are.

An Army is Born
Well my first few models are pretty cool. For the moment I am ignoring the Khador ones and concentrating on the Protectorate ones. In my box set I have the following
Warcaster High Exemplar Kreoss
Warcaster High Exemplar Kreoss
Exemplar Cinerators Unit (5 models.)
Repenter Light Warjack
Crusader Heavy Warjack
Vanquisher Heavy Warjack
There were very few mould lines on the models that I could see and they seemed to fit together pretty easy. I have left the shield arms off of the Cinerators to make them easier for me to paint.
I used GW thin superglue to assemble them and for the most part it worked quite well. I did however resort to pinning a couple of the warjack arms and also pinning the two heavies feet to the bases. Going forward I think I will try some thicker glue on future models.
Speaking of which I was in Traveling Man the other day and picked up a Choir of Menoth and another light Warjack (Revenger). For the moment I am just going to set those aside and concentrate on the models above.

In the begining
Well I have played with the idea of starting a blog many times over the years and always failed to get the necessary enthusiasm together for it.
But! After may years away from tabletop gaming I have joined a new club in Winsford just in time to begin a Warmachine/Horde slow grow league.
After some consideration and much browsing of the web I whittled the choice down to Circle of Orboros or Protectorate of Menoth.
I played a demo Warmachine game and that led me to go the SciFi route of giant steam powered robots over Fantasy monsters.
So that leads to the purchase of
More to follow as I assemble and paint them!
